It\u2019s a complete, comprehensive set of training materials designed to work together to make learning and teaching Sidemount diving easy.<\/p>\n<h3>Who this course is for?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The TDI diver looking to expand their in-water skills and techniques<\/li>\n<li>The certified diver who has interest in moving forward with technical diving education and expanding their equipment configuration options<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Course prerequisites:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum age 18<\/li>\n<li>Minimum certification of SDI Open Water Scuba Diver, or equivalent<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What you can expect to learn:<\/h3>\n<p>The TDI Sidemount Diver Course takes an in-depth look at all of the following and more!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gas matching procedures to include dissimilar volumes<\/li>\n<li>Gas management utilizing independent cylinders<\/li>\n<li>Psychological considerations of technical diving<\/li>\n<li>Equipment considerations\n<ul>\n<li>Cylinder options<\/li>\n<li>Regulator options<\/li>\n<li>Buoyancy compensator device (BCD)\/harness options<\/li>\n<li>Proper weighting<\/li>\n<li>Equipment configurations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Communication (light and hand signals)<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving in a sidemount configuration<\/li>\n<li>Diving in tight or confined spaces<\/li>\n<li>Conservation<\/li>\n<li>Water entries\/exits<\/li>\n<li>S-drills specific to sidemount diving<\/li>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrate various propulsion techniques such as the frog kick, modified frog kick, modified flutter kick, backwards kick, helicopter turns, and hand pulling if appropriate for the environment.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate adequate buoyancy control; ability to hover at a fixed position in water column without moving hands or feet<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate adequate trim; ability to maintain proper position during the descent, bottom, and ascent portion of the dive<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate the ability to perform the following exercises while maintaining trim and buoyancy in the water column:\n<ul>\n<li>Unclipping and attaching sidemount cylinders<\/li>\n<li>Perform gas switches with and without a mask<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate the ability to safely manage gas in independent cylinders<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate conservation, awareness, and back referencing techniques<\/li>\n<li>Deploy a lift bag<\/li>\n<li>Carry additional cylinders is optional in this course<em>Some of the required skills you will have to demonstrate include:<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What\u2019s in it for you?<\/h3>\n<p>Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may engage in sidemount diving activities without direct supervision so long as the following limits are adhered to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The diving activities approximate those of training<\/li>\n<li>The areas of activities approximate those of training<\/li>\n<li>Planned dives do not exceed diver\u2019s current certification level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>TDI Sidemount Diver minimum\u00a0certification requirements:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform all land drills and dive requirements safely and efficiently<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate mature, sound judgment concerning dive planning and execution<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an appropriate level of awareness and respect for the environment<\/li>\n<li>Log all training dives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Pricing:<\/h3>\n<div class=\"row \"><div class=\"col-sm-6 \"><table class=\"table table-striped table-bordered\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td>TDI Sidemount Diver<\/td>\n<td>\u20ac 490,00<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n<div class=\"col-sm-6 \"><a href=\"\/contact\/\" title=\"Want to Know More?
